01. Move the bathroom
Take the existing bathroom footprint and insert it into the corner of the room adjacent to Bed 1.
02. Expand the stairwell
Utilising part of the space vacated by the original bathroom, and removing the glazed wall, it is possible to insert new 180ยบ stairs.
03. Enlarge the kitchen space
The kitchen area can now be enlarged by expanding into the rest of the space vacated by the bathroom, right up to the new stairwell.
04. Move the doors
Moving the existing doors to the middle of the room allows for an uninterrupted U space for the new kitchen units.
05. Options ...
The reclaimed kitchen space can now be deployed as a dining area or converted to a pantry, leaving the kitchen more spacious.
